11Customs №1(BM60) - First/Budget Build

General Info
The state of the board circa late spring 2022. Read "The Story" section for previous configs. This is my first/budget build that I'm still working on. I do plan on buying a nicer case and cable, before setting my eyes on a new project. Yes the name of the build is weird cause I like having a brand for my boards. With ❤ GAN!A.

The Story
Originally built in fall 2020 with Tangerines and Domikey 1980's, this BM60 was the start of my keyboard journey. Turned out that going with tangies wasn't the best choice cause even filmed I did not enjoy them at all. 1980's were quite nice on the other hand, if only I hadn't fucked up with the right shift (2.25U). So after a month I swapped them for keycaps from my Leopold FC660M PD. After another half a year or so I finally was fed up with tangies, so I scavenged Cherry Silent Reds that were desoldered from the very same Leopold that had Box Jades in it now. Due to them being soldered switches I did need to swap the bottom housing, so they ended up with Gateron Black bottom housing. The springs are also from the same Gateron Blacks, so they should be around 70 grams. I do quite like the combination in the end. The slightly hissing sound profile of silent reds with bright bottom housing and shallow thick Leopold keycaps does produce quite a unique sound.
