This is the very first custom keyboard i've decided to build.
Why Aliexpress Special? Because i literally bought every component of this keyboard on Aliexpress.
After a unpleasant experience with my Leopold FC900R (broken connector), i was shopping around for something smaller, sturdier and also looked pleasant in my table.
I've settled on the ID80 after talking to my friend that built many custom keyboards, it was the perfect starting point for me, specially because it doesn't require soldering, since my soldering job is really awful.
For the first year it had JWK C Black V2 switches lubed with Krytox 105, but since i built another linear keyboard, i transformed this into a clicky keyboard with Kailh Box Navy switches.
The stabilizers are Everglide V2s, lubed with silicone grease.
For keycaps i chose Keypro's Red Warrior PBT keycaps, which is frankly a rip-off of GMK's Red Samurai set, just without the katakana characters, i was also gifted a KeyStone USSR metal vanity keycap by my friend, who thought it would look cool with the red/gold keycaps.
Recently i've also added the optional acrylic bottom plate and a custom cable.
Color(s): Black
RGB Lighting? Yes
Keyboard Type: Custom
