Philosopher's Keeb 🝚

My first keyboard, crafted through the ancient power of alchemy itself.

I scoured the globe for elemental components, in the hopes of making my own "Philosopher's stone". After months of research into the inner-workings of custom keebs, and pouring over every alchemical ingredient in great detail, I finally brought my dream into reality.

I custom-made the top plates using the files provided by Danny at Keeb.io. The Quefrency plate was laser-cut from 3mm Baltic birch plywood, then stained with walnut wood stain. The BDN9 plate is laser-cut from 3.2mm walnut hardwood.

For the escape key I used a gold-anodized titanium-milled DSA keycap from ZA Prisco.
