The Jris65 from IRISLab is a direct competitor to the QK65 from Qwertykeys. Very similar in many ways, but differentiated by a few key points such as mounting specifics and weight design. This particular configuration of the Jris65 is e-white top, black bottom, silver PVD polished stainless steel weight, wired hot-swappable PCB, and POM plate. It has been built using the gasket socks with case and plate foams, no PE sheet, and no PCB tape.
Gateron Oil King switches are a popular choice and rightfully so, with a reasonably smooth typing feel and a pleasant sound profile. The spacebar switch has been re-lubed and filmed to provide the best sound and feel possible. Playing into the black and white theme a little bit, the Drop MT3 3277 keycap set was chosen with fun turquoise accents being added for a splash of color. Durock V2 screw-in stabs are cheap and reliable, providing consistent results and not being a hassle to lube or install.
